\step
Step block defines a scope within which operators for a step of the
model can be described. Steps are automatically indexed beginning with
1. There are two implicit treatments associated to a step block:
- at the beginning of each step over the first, points and edges
defined into previous steps are automatically inserted in the new
step. Then, they can be used as if they are defined in the current
step. During the edge transfer, the type of previous edges are
systematically set to fold. A valley or mountain fold in a
step will become basic fold in next one.
- at the end of each step, an automatic diagram
output from the internal data structures (vertices and edges) is
produced. Default output is a Postscript.
Thus, an empty step block will produce a diagram step containing all
the previously defined and visible edges up to this step, the fold
line (valley or mountain) appear as fold (thin shortest line).
